He is from Australia, she is from Colorado. Oceans couldn’t keep them apart!
I’ve known Ashleigh since we were in Jr high. She was a good friend growing up and someone I have always admired even though she is younger than me.
When she told me about Chris I couldn’t wait to meet him. They had some ups and downs planning their wedding (more to come about this!) and waiting on Chris’s Visa but as soon as he got it we planned their engagement session (Their wedding was 2 weeks later!)
Trevor and I loved meeting Chris! First off HIS ACCENT!!! GGGGOOOSSSHHH I love Aussie accents! But Chris has to be one of the most outrageously encouraging and genuine guys I have ever met! Him and Ashleigh are such a good match, we cannot wait to see where God takes them next!
Here are a few photos from their engagement session!!
2 kids and 10 years later Dustin and Kate celebrated their wedding anniversary with all their friends and family by renewing their vows and throwing a picture perfect party!
We were honored to get to capture this precious celebration! You can see all of Kate’s hard work come together in every thoughtful detail!
It was a magical night!

Did you hear? Photography Awesomesauce came out with this great Business Binder!!
Carrie, the lady behind all the awesome, was searching for a binder that met all her needs and couldn’t find one, so she created her own! I love that this is catered to photographers and not just small businesses.
One of my favorite things about this binder is that you can build it yourself with whatever you need. The Photography Awesomesauce Store has tons of options for add ons and even some free downloads to print out yourself and add to the binder! This has helped so much with keeping track of clients and staying on task! Go check it out!!
We love breakfast and our favorite breakfast spot is most definitely Snooze!
When we find something we love at a restaurant we usually order the same thing every time! I like a good balance of salty and sweet on my breakfast plate and we have found the PERFECT combination of both in our Snooze order.
I love snooze’s environment. So laid back and we have always had great service there! The only downside is there is usually a wait (but it is well worth it!)
Here is what we order:
I order a caramel Latte, Their coffee is DELICIOUS here!
Trevor orders just a normal coffee with cream but steals way to many sips of my beloved coffee.
We both split an order of OMG! french toast and Ham Benedict III
They split them in half for us which is wonderful since I am sure we would fight over the last bite 😉
I have known Emily since she was in 9th grade. Her friends in High School were my favorite and most entertaining (I am talking about you Tuesday Brunch) from the youth group we help out at. Even though I am a few years older, I have always loved spending time with these girls. I got to take her Senior Portraits but most of all I got to be her friend. Emily is so sweet, she takes care of her friends and is so fun. I have seen her juggle so much and I know she is an Incredibly strong person.
Emily spent a few years in Atlanta and came back and became apart of the new School Of Ministry at our church. Enter Joshua, He moved here from good ol Louisiana to also be apart of this same school. Joshua is so easy to talk to, is amazing at letting you know your cared about and instantly welcomes anyone with open arms. I didn’t really know what southern hospitality was until I met him.
The story of them is theirs to tell but boy is it a good one 🙂 Joshua and Emily have become dear friends (as a couple) to Trevor and I and we cannot wait to be apart of their wedding day!!
